Aims and scope
The journal Psihoterapija serves as a professional forum for psychodynamically oriented psychotherapists. Its aim is to present developments in the field of psychotherapy, to disseminate new perspectives and clinical experiences across specific psychotherapeutic approaches, and to acquaint readers with current research in psychotherapy. Through the publication of case reports, the journal offers insight into the psychotherapeutic process as implemented within particular psychotherapeutic techniques. In addition, the journal publishes reviews of professional books in the field of psychotherapy.
The journal Psihoterapija also features reports on psychotherapy-related meetings and conferences both nationally and internationally, as well as analyses of selected cultural phenomena—such as film, literature, and theatre—examined from a psychotherapeutic perspective.
The journal is primarily intended for psychotherapists, as well as for professionals from related disciplines who work with individuals experiencing mental health difficulties or living with chronic illness.
