Abstract
Recently dreams have not been seen only from the perspective of a dreamer’s inner life, but also as a way of conveying information about the impact of group dynamics and a dreamer’s broader social environment to the dreamer. Dreams can be seen as jointly designed, as a part of the inter-subjective process within a group, or as a part of the matrix or as a way to eject the unacceptable parts of the self to the others by a mechanism of projective identification. The group provides opportunities for containment and metabolizing of heavy „digestible“ dreams material. In addition to opportunities for „rigorous“ analysis, dreams offer a possibility for playful communication in the group about possible unconscious dynamics meanings.
